Service Description
Trauma is not just a memory, it is a physiological state. The body communicates through sensation, contraction, expansion, impulses, and movement. When we learn to listen to these signals, the body naturally begins to unwind what it has been holding. Each session includes: - Somatic grounding and safety practices - Gentle movement and shaking to release stored activation - Breathwork to support regulation - Vagus‑nerve‑supportive techniques - Embodied awareness to recognise and unwind patterns - Integration practices to help the changes settle People often describe the experience as feeling lighter, clearer, more present, and more themselves. Somatic Trauma Unwinding is ideal for anyone who: - Feels stuck in trauma responses or emotional heaviness - Experiences overwhelm, shutdown, or reactivity - Has tried talk‑based approaches but still feels something “in the body” - Wants to feel more grounded, present, and connected - Is ready to release old patterns and step into more ease - Works with, or wants to start working with, clients who are expressing trauma.
