Service Description
Chronic stress places a heavy load on the body. It disrupts sleep, weakens immunity, fuels anxiety, and strains relationships. Over time, it erodes our ability to think clearly, communicate well, and meet challenges with confidence. Many modern health conditions are worsened, and in some cases driven, by long-term stress activation. Despite this, stress has become so normalised that many people don’t realise how overwhelmed their systems truly are. Scientists now describe stress as a global health crisis, and workplaces are seeing the effects every day: exhaustion, reactivity, burnout, and a constant sense of “just holding it together.” Yet the body is not the enemy. It’s the solution. There are simple, practical ways to reduce stress in the moment, and deeper tools that help us change how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us. When we learn to work with the nervous system instead of against it, we regain clarity, steadiness, and resilience. This workshop series offers a structured, supportive way to do exactly that. In this session, we will: - Explore how stress patterns are learned, re-enforced, and passed down - Learn how to break the pattern - Create tools to create new, more effective responses.
